Who am I?

The theme was to draw your favourite scene from one of the pokemon movies.

Well, it's propably a bit hard to guess, but I'm actually a huge pokemon fan. I spend a lot of my classes with drawing them on every surface, but that's long ago. I stopped liking it when there suddenly was a pokemon more than 151. For me, there was no need to be and I stopped watching TV, collecting the cards etc. that instant.

But hell, I loved it

So I decided to draw my personal scene from the first movie: Mewtwo and its starter-pokemon ready for battle. (the black and white part)
The title is Mewtwo's biggest question: It doesn't know if it is just a copy or more. That is in my opinion the most important thing to understand its motives and behavior and its inner struggle makes me really love this pokemon.

So I drew ... let's say the "ghosts" of the starter-pokemon and their element in the background. Behind Mewtwo, I draw Mew because Mew's shadow will always be in Mewtwo's mind.

I like to see the background as the answer to the title: "Who am I". This is the spirit of the pokemon below, fully grown, ready to battle until the end with nowhere else to go, but deep inside just pure and innocent.
